Madison Community Foundation COVID-19 Response

We are working hard to support our community through the COVID-19 pandemic. While the disruption and hardship caused by the disease and the efforts to slow its spread are unprecedented in our times, we know that by pulling together as a community we can support each other and help protect the people and organizations most affected.

Here you can find updates about what MCF is doing in response to the pandemic, ways you can support the community, important resources for nonprofit organizations, and investment updates. We hope this will be a valuable resource for you – our donors, our fundholders, the organizations we help support, and our community.

Madison Gives Has Been Cancelled for 2020

As we experience the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, our thoughts are with the individuals, families, organizations, and businesses most affected. The health and safety of our community continues to be our top priority, and for that reason we have decided to cancel Madison Gives for 2020.

We want to thank our sponsors, Ho-Chunk Gaming Madison, Alliant Energy, and CUNA Mutual, for their support and generosity.

If you registered for the event, you should have received information outlining the options for how you would like us to treat your purchase. If you haven’t, please contact Liz Teubert. Contact Liz

MCF Staff Working Remotely to Limit Coronavirus Spread

Based on recommendations by public health officials to limit the spread of Coronavirus, all MCF staff are working remotely. In addition, we are using electronic communications in place of face-to-face meetings. We appreciate your patience and support of these efforts to comply with Governor Evers' Safer at Home order and to limit direct contact between people in our community.
