Olbrich Botanical Gardens’ GLEAM Exhibit - August 25
Olbrich Gardens, 3330 Atwood Ave, Madison"GLEAM: Art in a New Light" kicks off Saturday, August 25, 7:30-10:30 p.m. GLEAM is an annual exhibit that features local, national, and international artists’ light-based installations throughout all 16 acres of the gardens. Enjoy performances by Cycropia and meet-and-greets with artists. Proceeds benefit the upkeep and management of the gardens.

The Rape Crisis Center’s Java Jive - September 23
The 23rd annual Java Jive is Sunday, September 23. The event features a full brunch by Gooseberry on the Square, along with music, silent auction, and raffle. Most importantly, enjoy delicious coffees from every corner of Madison! Funds raised will help provide free services for women, men, and children who have been affected by sexual assault.
Centro Hispano of Dane County’s Annual Celebration Gala - September 28
Centro Hispano is hosting its 29th annual gala celebration Friday, September 28 at 6 p.m. This year, Centro’s goal is to bring together the Latino community and its supporters with the theme “Accion,” which celebrates the heroes who have taken action for the Latino community at this important time in history.
Literacy Network’s Run for Literacy - October 13
The 27th annual Run for Literacy is Saturday, October 13. The family-friendly race is a 5K run and walk that starts and ends at Literacy Network’s learning center in south Madison. All funds raised go directly to support adults in Dane County who struggle with low literacy.
