Getting to Know Nick Pjevach, Donor Database Manager

Nick Headshot

Nick Pjevach joined MCF in September as our Donor Database Manager. Nick processes donations, maintains mailing lists and organizes information about everything from what types of organizations and causes a donor is interested in to what someone’s legacy is intended to support. “Data is such a vital resource, and it is important that we use it in meaningful and respectful ways,” Nick commented. “I take my role as a caretaker very seriously.”

Nick is a long time Madison resident, moving here to attend UW-Madison. After obtaining his undergraduate degree, Nick’s love of art led him to seek his MBA with a specialization in Arts Administration through the University’s Bolz Center of Art Administration.

Since graduating, Nick has become a leader in Madison’s art community. He was Art + Literature Laboratory’s first full-time staff member dedicated to fundraising as their Director of Development. Nick also serves as chair of the Madison Arts Commission, and volunteers with Urban Community Arts Network on their Greater Madison Music City initiative.

Nick is excited to be a part of the MCF team, continuing his career supporting nonprofits in Madison. “Madison Community Foundation is focused on the holistic picture of how to make Madison the best place for everyone to live and I am ecstatic to contribute to that,” he shared. “Passion is what inspires me most, which is probably why I have come to view Madison as home,” Nick added. “People really care about this place!”

Nick lives on the Isthmus with his long-term partner, Julia, and enjoys the urban lifestyle this affords them. Together they enjoy taking in scenic views at the lakes. In his free time, Nick likes going to cultural events of all kinds, reading nonfiction, and generally being too busy.

Welcome aboard, Nick. We are excited to have you here at MCF!
