Madison Gives 2026

Thank you for joining us for an evening celebrating philanthropy and impact! It was wonderful to see so many familiar and new faces gathered to support our community.

Enjoy the recording of our livestream, inspiring stories of generosity and impact and event photos below.

The Road Home Helps Families Find Stability

The Road Home supports families facing homelessness using a housing-first model — providing a level of stability that allows the families it works with to focus on their long-term goals. For Christina Walker, that meant realizing her dream of owning a home for her and her children.

Ray and Linda Allen

Ray and Linda Allen have given so much to the Madison community throughout their lives, most recently by creating an endowment fund to support Operation Fresh Start. Learn why providing this support was important to the Allens, and how it already is helping Operation Fresh Start provide youth with a pathway to the future.

Celebrating Bob Sorge’s Legacy at MCF

Bob Sorge’s career has left a lasting impact on our community. As he prepares to retire from Madison Community Foundation after leading the organization for the past 13 years, we wanted to share what his work has meant.

Inspired to support the Goodman Nonprofit Center?

In honor of MCF President Bob Sorge’s retirement at the end of 2026, a generous donor will match all gifts to either Goodman Nonprofit Center Endowment Fund (the Bob Sorge Fund or the General Fund), dollar-for-dollar, up to $500,000.

All funds raised will help complete MCF’s $12.5 million campaign to build a permanent endowment for the Goodman Nonprofit Center.
