2023 Year-End Giving Deadlines
As the tax year comes to a close, make sure you're aware of the deadlines and requirements for giving if you are planning to take a deduction for your contribution on your 2023 tax return.

Last day to contribute to your passthrough fund to be able to recommend 2023 grants |

Talk to your broker to initiate a gift of mutual fund shares |

Initiate any stock gifts you have planned |

| December 15 |
Last day to submit grant recommendations from your fund. Following approval by the MCF Board, grant checks will be mailed the last week of December |

| December 27 |
Make your donations by credit card now to ensure they appear on your December credit card statement |
| |
|
| December 29 |
Donations delivered in person must be received at the MCF office by 4:30 today |
| |
|
| December 31 |
Donations sent by U.S. mail must be received or postmarked by December 31 |
| |
|
| January 8, 2024 |
Donations mailed and postmarked before December 31 must be received by this date |
