$1,000 Matching Gift Opportunity!

During our anniversary year, we’ve set an ambitious goal to welcome 75 new members to our Legacy Society – 75 people who will impact causes and their community through charitable giving for generations to come. Legacy giving is one of the powerful ways people can make a lasting difference for the future.

“This is about bringing people together to support a community they love," says president Bob Sorge. "They want to see the greater Madison area prosper and they can leave a legacy to make that happen."

Your new legacy commitment, made during our anniversary year, will be honored with a $1,000 gift in your name to MCF’s Community Impact Fund – our single largest source of grantmaking within the community. This special opportunity is made possible by a member of our Board of Governors.

Is Madison Community Foundation included in your estate plan? Please let us know by returning this confidential Statement of Intent [PDF] to document the impact you plan to make through your gift. Information you provide is not legally binding and may be changed at any time in the future.

I think of my legacy gift as paying it forward. What better way to enhance the future of the city that has given me such a wonderful life?"

– Jane Coleman, donor, Legacy Society member
